Oh Sun-Young

Yang Tae-Ho
Abstract
Diplopia is an acute and debilitating symptom with many potential neurological and ophthalmological causes. Accurate diagnosis and appropriate plans of management can be achieved with careful history taking and clinical examination. Infranuclear disorders of ocular motility are caused by neurogenic, synaptogenic, or myogenic paresis. The patient¡¯s diplopia history, oculomotor examination techniques, and the differential diagnosis of an isolated paresis of cranial nerves and vergence disorders will be discussed in this review article.
